Dr Skiadas studied medicine at the Hellenic Corps Officers Military Academy in Greece and trained in diagnostic radiology at Areteion Hospital, University of Athens. In 2011 he moved to Liverpool, UK, for his Fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology and since 2013 he has been working as a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the University Southampton Hospital.

He has more than 7 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases using all imaging modalities and image-guided interventional procedures. His main interest is sports injuries imaging and in 2016 he was awarded the Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales and also the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. He has also a personal interest in radiology training, and apart from being a keen teacher, he is currently the training program director in Southampton General Hospital radiology department. He is the author of more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals and radiology websites.

Dr Skiadas is married and has two daughters. He likes spending his free time with his family and friends, reading books, listening to jazz music, and relaxing with a glass of wine watching a good film.
